Pizza-Onions and Peppers

Wow….this pizza was damn good.


  • 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 6 oz warm water
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 3/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp oregano
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 tsp dried red pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Mix together and let sit in the fridge for 30 minutes

  • Dough: See earlier recipe
  •  Cheese: shredded mozzarella (bag)
  •  Vegetables: onion and pepper (yellow and red)

First, I grilled the vegetables on Bessie at 500 degrees for about 5-10 minutes coated them with Dizzy Pig Tsunami Spin Seasoning.

Removed vegetables and heated up pizza stone, Bessie between 500-550. Added pizza via pizza peel (corn meal on stone). Sprinkled a bit of the Dizzy Pig Tsunami Spin Seasoning on the pizza. ;Grilled for ~15 minutes or until cheese was starting to brown.

Crust was nice and crispy….Definitely will make again
