OnPoint Filet Mignon topped with Bleu Cheese

Finally fired up my Kamado Joe “Josie” after a 2 week hiatus!

Got the 2013-05-05 18.22.29 HDRtemperature up to about 600, pre-heated the grill grates for about 10 min, then let Josie do her magic.  Cooked mine to medium rare (2’/turn x4) and Karen’s to medium – left it on for an extra 2′.

Threw 2 chunks of hickory in there for some added  flavor and topped with bleu cheese chunks.
