Neighborhood BBQ: Grilled Chicken Wings

Had a great time at a neighbors house for a mothers day weekend BBQ.

I decided to grill up some of the same wings I had posted about a few weeks ago.

Picked up ~8lbs of chicken wings from Wegman’s and cut the wings into 3 pieces (discarding the wing tips).   Then prepared the marinade which consisted of the following:

3/4 cup soy sauce, 3/4 cup italian salad dressing and ~3 cloves of minced garlic

Allowed the wings to marinade in a freezer bag for over 36 hours in the fridge, then removed the wings and coated liberally with Dizzy Pig Tsunami Spin Rub and Dizzy Pig Swamp Venom

Kamado Joe (Bessie) was pre-heated to around 300-350 degrees, making sure to grease grates with Pam to prevent sticking.

Grilled wings for about 20 minutes, flipping frequently to prevent burning.  A slight char is preferred however.   Wings came out perfect.  These were paired with my neighbor’s secret hot sauce (to be revealed at a later date).   All 8 lbs were quickly gone, and they received numerous compliments so I’d call that OnPoint…  Forgot to take a picture of the finished product.  But took an quick shot of them on the grill.

Highly recommend!
