Flank Steak & Deconstructed French Onion Soup

Marinated a 2 LB flank steak from Gore’s Meats in Spedie Sauce (a good quick marinade if you don’t have time to mix a bunch of different ingredients.2013-05-27 19.00.09 HDR

Fired up my Kamado Joe “Josie” to about 500 and threw in a handful of mesquite chips to add a little smoke flavor.  Grilled for about 8-10 min total (normal turn/flip) direct on the grill (the steak was too big for grill grates).  Let the steak rest for about 5 min then sliced it up
